My First Z4

Hi Everyone,

After 36 years, I finally have a great sports car! At 18 I had a chance to test drive an MGB and fell in love. Unfortunately couldn't make the purchase. Since then got married, had kids, purchased the station wagon, etc. You get the idea. Well about a year ago I was passing a dealership and saw a 2004 Z4. I thought why not take it out for a test drive. It was like I was 18 all over again (you never forget your first love).

Since then I have been pouring over craigslists, ebay, etc., to find the right car. I am so happy to say that about a month ago I found a 2007 Z4 3.0, 6 speed, in Tampa. I made the purchase, flew down, and made the drive back to Knoxville. I had tears in my eyes when I saw the car for the first time. I couldn't believe it was mine.

It's my dd (replacing a Ford Taurus that I had for 13 years) and I smile every time I drive it. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but it is a fantastic car! It is so well engineered, and I'm amazed at the attention to detail. I plan to have this car for a very long time.

Looks like a fine auto, and that style of wheel goes very nicely with that color. Now get out there and put some miles on - you've got some catching up to do!
