Condensation issue?

Hi guys

I'm looking for some advise..

Today I was on a little road trip with my gf and at one time she felt some water on her feet

She felt under the glovebox compartment and there was a lot of condensation

It was a hot day we had the top down and the AC was running to the max but still... Is this normal??

I don't think having such condensation inside of the car is a good thing..

I turn the AC off and she never felt any more water drop on her afterwards...

Thanks for your help

The condensation is normal. Having it drip on her feet is not.

The drain for the evaporator is clogged or the piece of duct work that routes it out of the passenger compartment has fallen off.

The evap coil is #1 here. It should be somewhere behind the glove box, but I've never been in there, so I can't say exactly where.

Part #9 here routes the water away from her feet, and out under the car.
Another user on the forum (thelinux?) reported finding this piece flopping around loose on top of his transmission.
I'll try and locate that thread. He may have some more helpful tips.

Here it is

I think the very first picture in this thread is the part that's clogged or fallen off.

Maybe you can check with thelinux for an update and tips.
