Z4 ecu

I couldn't find any info on this. Where is the ecu in an 03 e85 3.0i? Also, is its removal similar to that of the e46? Thanks.

The ECU is on the drivers side closest to the hinge and firewall under the black cover. Yes it is removable. Take care of the gaskets and connectors. there are screws in the cover and one that holds the board. I have no idea re:e46

Thanks imz4n. It's actually almost identical to the e46. Removal of ours is actually easier.
