VRSF 7" FMIC question

I bought a new 7" FMIC and it did not come with the bottom brackets or hardware, does anyone know what size the hardware is? Sent the vendor a pm but has not responded yet.

Hardware? Explain

As for the bottom brackets, they were a V1 part that have not been used since. Absolutely no reason to worry, the vast majority of intercoolers do not use them. So really, nothing to worry about on that front.

We had customer came in today for VRSF 7" installed in his 335i N55. Take quite work to fit it in have to trim quite bit the front and we make 2 brackets to hold the bottom IC to the frame. There is mounting points on the IC but no bracket came with it. I recommend to use the bracket since it only hold by 2 screws to the plastic frame and coupler. I can snatch some pics tomorrow when I come to the shop.

I installed mine without the brackets. And its holding up fine. Tiago told me its not required. There was considerable trimming but it fits perfect after that. Here are some pics.

Should drill out the rest of holes on the side grill to get more air in

You need to trim the plastic bumper support and not the actual bumper. You will see what you need to trim when you look after you remove the stock intercooler. There is a great DIY thread somewhere here that highlights what to trim off.
