very curious about this. I have dinan springs now and don't want a sloppy ride.

Well, this is what I have to say. They rode nice. The ride was not jarring like some slammed honda on the freeway. You know, bobble head.

However, depending on how low you go, the overall ride comfort will lessen to a point. For example, in the pictures, my car is exactly 3.25" from top of wheel lip to fender edge. It looks great right? Well I noticed that during high speed 80mph+ hitting certain decent sized ripples in the road would send me flying into the air (at least that's what it felt like). I can only assume that was the car hitting the KW bump stops (which are shorter and stiffer) and rebounding the car upward. That bothered me. I guess Im just getting to old for lowered car driving. Which is something I have ALWAYS done until trying it on the M3.

Now EDC wise, I would say that KW springs make EDC feel like sport + is on when you are in comfort mode with the KW's. And it goes up from there. I couldn't tell THAT much of a difference between the different mode either. Don't get me wrong, you can tell, but its not nearly as drastic as stock changes were.

Now that Im back to stock, I feel ugly. But I do feel the ride quality is way better. Hitting bumps in the road doesn't unsettle the car so much. Then again, stock is ALWAYS better ride quality.

Would I buy these again, probably not. I would just keep it stock.

That's my honest opinion.

Man I couldn't agree more with your assessment of the KW's. Based on your picture I would say you're four to six turns up from fully lowered. I'm at four and yes it's sport plus always. But I will add what I liked about the S/O kit is that it made the steering wheel feel slightly heavier. I personally like that because the car feels like it has less oversteer in fast corners. :]

I like the kit a lot. Unfortunately the M has become our family car so the rough ride is annoying to passengers sometimes. But I don't mind it at all.
BTW I left the stock rear bump stops and sleeve in when my kit was installed. Just use the kw spring. I like the set up.

It's a good kit to pick up. It's worth 600 for sure IMO. Peace.
