New To Me 128i!

I picked up my 2011 Sedona Red 128i M-Sport with 6MT on Monday. Friday an icestorm hit. So I've only had four days to enjoy it. It's been parked since Thursday evening. But those four days were more than enough for me to know this is a fantastic car. The engine is so strong and smooth, I can't even imagine how ridiculous the 135i must be. I absolutely love this car. And let's talk about the color. This Sedona Red is incredible. It changes from bright metallic orange to deep copper depending on the light. This is one good looking car. Pictures do not do this color justice. You have to see it in person.

Tint coming soon, and maybe the shadow trim grill.

Congratulations. I just picked up my new 128i last Tuesday and I agree, it's an amazing car! I love that sadona red. Enjoy!

Haven't seen the Sedona red in person but I can imagine how nice it must be. I saw, for the first time the other day, a 135i here in Vermillion red. Beautiful. Made me wish I'd gotten that color. And, yeah, the 135i is "ridiculous"

Welcome! Most of the 128i chat happens in the 128i engine section. We have found out some pretty excellent stuff over there.

17,000 miles on it, if you can believe it. I was going to wait until February to purchase one, but when I found this one with such low mileage I knew I had to jump on it. And I am so glad I did.

very nice! like those wheels. when buying my car, I found it very difficult to find a manual with sport package.

But every time I drive it, I have to keep saying to my wife "Damn this engine is soo....... smooth" I just can't get over it. haha

SR has really grown on me, at first I was partial, but it really stands out in the sunlight and will probably fetch you a lot of compliments.

You really are right about sedona red being a great color in person. When I was in college someone had a 135i in it. Its a great color!

There's a very often discussed difference between the US N52 128 and US N51 SULEV 128i and EU N52 125i. DISA, software etc.

BTW, congrats on the car!

Okay. The ice has cleared and I have decided that I love this car. 100%. I am so happy. I park it right in front of my office and every time I look out the window it makes me smile. This car is fantastic.
