Is my 135i a 135is?

I recently searched my VIN number and it said my model was a 135is... I didnt know it was a 135is but how can i tell anyways? Please help whats the difference between a 135i and a 135is?

Yes, it is/was a model year 2013 only car as a final hoorah to the 135.

It's not, mine said the same thing. There was no 135is in 2008.

Good list. Would say "PPK2" and add "M Sport Package" to be more accurate. Also, even when ordering the 135is, you needed to specify the black interior with blue stitching. Production data says that less than half of the 135is production had the blue stitching.

My dealer continues to list my 2012 135i as a 135is even though it was factory ordered before the 135is could be ordered and I correct them every time I bring it in for service. They claim BMW lists it as a 135is. Wonder if they would if I tried to sell it to them?

i believe i had read somewhere that when the earlier 135s came with the M Sport Pack, they used to get listed in the BMW databases as a 135is. I'm pretty sure that when it comes time to get money from them, they will find every way to REDUCE the the money they are paying you so the truth will come out! lol

hey if it's listed in their computer as a 135is, do you think you get the 'is' firmware?

There was a glitch with Reynolds and ISTA/P. It's going to be fixed in the next update in a month or two.
