Evap Codes, any ideas

I've been getting some EVAP codes for the past few months and unfortunately I don't know if it's related to me working on the car, getting rear ended or coincidence. The rear ending wasn't real bad only requiring my bumper cover to be fixed. Codes are P0442, P0440, P2A15 and P2A1A. So far I've replaced the cap, checked all fittings and cleaned re-greased all the connections on the evap system but the CEL still comes back after a few days after resetting.

You could have a problem with your dmtl pump diagnostic modual for tank leakage. Have that checked. But I suspect you have a bad fuel tank vent valve it sits right bellow the charge pipe that have some PVC hoses running to it. Have that check out.

I don't know what it is but when we had a car throwing evap codes we didn't get satisfaction until I insisted they run a smoke test. The car was under warranty so the dealer did it. They have a little pen shaped device that puts out a white smoke. They move the smoke near the evap system and look for it to me moved by subtle air movement. It only takes a few minutes. In my case, the pump that is supposed to pull a vacumn on the fuel system was not functional - on a brand new car (Suzuki). The dealer had been telling us we didn't install the gas cap right. The smoke test resulted in a fix with no more arguing.

I'm pretty sure you can buy the smoke pens but I have no idea what they cost.
