What color silver is this?
I'm really liking it with the red interior.

The color in that rendering is likely Chrome Shadow that was used on the 4 Series Concept.
Quoting Scott here: The Color is called "Chrome Shadow" and because of it's exclusivity it costs over 100,000 euro for application. BMW only use this color to to showcase M Concept models. It will not be produced for customers. |

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=795418 The color is Liquid Metal Silver, as per the official 4 Series Concept thread here: http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=775876 "The Liquid Metal Silver exterior colour developed exclusively for the concept car shows off its expressive exterior design to excellent effect and injects an extra dose of energy into the interplay of contours and surfaces." Similar to the Chrome Shadow color mentioned by another poster above, this is a very expensive paint and finish that is not offered for production cars. |

Liquid Metal Silver- Individual?
I was curious what everyone think's of that Liquid Metal Silver color? I'm sure it will be an Individual color option if at all, and I added this information to another thread which I received from a friend at BMW regarding the US market will have the opportunity to utilize the Individual program for our M3/M4 orders.
I personally have never been much of a fan of silver in general but this appeared to be quite an interesting color when I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show, but I have not heard very much about it since then. Thanks, Chris |

^^^
Ok, so while that isn't actually Liquid Metal Silver as seen on the 4 Concept, it is a close approximation that has been inspired by it and can actually be ordered by customers. I'm sure it is not cheap (my guess is well over $10k), but it is cool that they offer it nevertheless. |
