How can I keep Eco Pro Selected for next time I drive?

Currently, I have to press the button each time I drive my F15 to get Eco Pro mode selected. Is there a way to keep it selected? I dig it.

You can't. And I'm not sure it's possible to code. I know we tried on the F10.

For some reason Audi vehicles can do that but not BMW. Not sure why but every time you start the engine the default will be comfort mode.

Surely the default mode is possible to code? Right?

I haven't figured it out yet. But I'll be revisiting it. The F15 has a whole slew of new modules, including the BDC (Body Domain Controller). It's basically a super ECU that consolidates many functions.

Did anyone ever figure this out? My wife is a major leadfoot and I would sure like to figure out how to code this... no way she's going to remember to put it in Eco Pro every time she starts the car

It can be coded winch I found in the coding thread. As soon as I get mine I'm paying someone to code a lot of stuff.

I would love to be able to code mine to default to Sport mode instead

Tell her every time she press that button you get a credit at your gas station. Technically you are not lying

You can code the F15 to default in either Eco (which is what I will do for my wife) or Sport. In addition you can do the following:

Fold mirrors with comfort access or key fob
Close rear hatch with comfort access or key fob
Roll up windows with key fob
Door handles light up when reversing
Unlock doors when engine is turned off
M boot logo on startup
Remove Idrive legal disclaimer
Enable video in motion

Enable extended Bluetooth which will give you the following options:

Mobile office for text messages and emails
Allow up to two phones to be paired to Idrive
Allow album art covers to display when streaming via Bluetooth
Enable speech to text on office

Same here.. Eco pro is so mind numbing and a boring way to drive a BMW.

Sorry, I just found out that the F15's cannot be coded to start it in either Eco or Sport. Apparently that coding is for the 3 & 5 series.
