winter/summer wheel switch

I would like get my snows off in the next week.

Who are you guys using to do the switch in the MetroWest area?

Talked to Rim Pro (based on recommendations from the 3 Series New England forum), but it is too far away and expensive ($200).

Was thinking about trying Hogan Tire in Natick since they have road force balancing.

Just did mine myself. Not very difficult if you have a jack. Probably took me less than an hour for all 4. Saves you the time of lugging wheels back and forth.

I know my local tire shop will do it for $50. I used them the first time I installed my winter set because the weather sucked and I just wanted to get them swapped.

I usually do it myself, takes 30-60 minutes with a good jack.

I wound up going to Long Distance Tire in Medway based on very positive comments and recommendations from Tire Rack.

They did a good job switching over the wheels and per my request, road force balanced both the summer and winter sets of wheels.

All the work was done quickly and professionally at what I consider a very fair price ($120).

I can see why they received positive recommendations.

I will have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.
