This shouldnt really be a long shot..Red is much less desireable than Black interior. I know this is gonna start a firestorm here, but it's reality.
There's a nice looking full red interior on ebay if you have not seen that yet. |

TwinTurboXI > IDK man, black is so boring. Red pops, specially on a black or white car -- it's sweet. Been here for a few years and I've only seen one "red" interior owner want black -- yours truly jumped all over it. Other than that, I've seen a few "red" front-seats for sale, but full interior? Nope. jack135_9 > Not trying to kill your vibe man, it's just not a very common request -- and its for an E88.

Well I guess to each its own. Because I wouldn't even consider purchasing a BMW without red interior.

I didn’t mean to cause all this insecurity with everyone and their red interiors. If you guys want to talk about FACTS..selling prices of BMW's with red interiors are consistently lower than those with non-red interiors. The cars also sit on dealer lots for MUCH longer. Why is that you ask? Because to the general population, red interiors are MUCH less desirable than the same car without the red interior.
That being said, I don't mind a red interior myself, so chill out everyone. |

TwinTurboXI > None of that is real man. We're messing around and having fun. Amxi316 and I know each other really well.
You kinda made my point indirectly. Being that red interiors are MUCH less desirable -- when someone buys a car with a red interior, it's most likely on purpose. Thus, they are not likely gonna let it go. I love the red interior in this car. It gives it some contrast. The whole point of me chiming in was to give you some perspective on the availability. Just keep your eyes open and check e-bay and craigslist constantly. Good luck with this man. Hope you find it. |

My Red for your Black?
Did anyone here find a set of red seats to trade for your black? I am looking at buying a 135i with red interior. However, I don't really like the red interior, it just has everything else I am looking for.
I was searching on here to see if anyone would want to trade red for black (or most any other color) and found this thread. The red ones are heated, M sport seats and I would want the same. Not sure if manual or electric though but I think electric since it has the premium package. I would want to trade at least the front and back seats. But would also consider trading all red parts. I don't own the car yet, but was just looking to see if there would be any interest to trade before I bought it. Any interest? Thanks, RustyKnight |
