I did an Aston Martin/McLaren track event a few weeks ago. Was out with this toy:

So you were out with Tysons AM peeps? Friendly guys!

What did you think of the GT4?

I spent a year driving these. It was after this I got my M3 with the DCT. The double clutch was bullet proof.

Not sure why the car in video has a wing at the back. The GT4 series in Europe does not allow for one. While I enjoyed this car better than the M3 GT4 (spoilt but the double clutch

The M3 GT4 felt/was faster. The gripe I had with the Aston was the ABS was based on stock system (with stock calipers as well) and would engage prematurely and very annoying. They fixed the bias after. Next the transmission at times wouldnt go to 2nd. They dont have the budget like BMW M but still have done a good job. AUH (our local race team) did wint their class in the 24 Hours of Dubai.

The suspension was quite basic. Fairly stock.

Sound wise, Aston hands down.
